St. Francis Xavier Catholic School is an accredited classical Catholic PreK-8 school in Birmingham’s Crestline neighborhood that uses the time-tested Catholic Intellectual Tradition to form students in virtue through the pursuit of academic excellence and service toward God and neighbor. 

We offer a well-rounded curriculum designed to prepare scholars to be extraordinary participants in the Church, family, community, society and the workforce.

Our scholars receive integrated, carefully crafted instruction in the following subject areas:

Middle school students have the opportunity to test into advanced mathematics, which places them on track to take advanced math classes at John Carroll Catholic High School (JCCHS) upon graduation from St. Francis.

Students also participate in recess and physical education (PE) twice a day, and attend the following rotations weekly:
