SFX Home and School Association raises over $10,000 at the Saint-A-Thon 2024 Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction

St. Francis Xavier (SFX) Catholic School Home and School Association raised over $10,000 on Saturday night at the 2024 Saint-A-Thon Spaghetti Dinner.

Saint-A-Thon is the SFX Home and School Association’s annual fundraiser. It generally takes place during the spring months and culminates in a Fun Run in which SFX students celebrate their success in gaining sponsors and raising money for the school.

This year’s Fun Run is on Friday, April 19. The Home and School Association’s goal is to raise $50,000. So far, SFX students and members of the community have raised over $22,000.

As part of the 2024 Saint-A-Thon fundraiser, the SFX Home and School Association hosted a spaghetti dinner and silent auction on Saturday in the Parish Hall. Adult attendees could purchase spaghetti plates for $10. Children could purchase plates for $7.

Some attendees participated in the silent auction and won prizes such as a professional family photography session, a gift card to the school’s lunch vendor WeLunchIt, student-made art, and themed baskets prepared by each SFX class. 

“I am so grateful for the amazing volunteers who helped Saturday night at the Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction,” said SFX Home and School Association President Krissy Custis. “For all our parents, families, parishioners, and friends who joined us, thank you! Your generosity and support is why I love being a part of St. Francis Xavier.”
